Volunteer

In accordance with current CDC recommendations pertaining to the Delta variant, we ask our volunteers to be willing to comply with the following protocols.

Effective July 1, 2021, in-house volunteers are required to:

*“Fully vaccinated” is defined as 14 days after the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or the second and final dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines.

For individuals unable to meet the listed criteria, virtual and outdoor volunteer opportunities are available.

Our guests and staff here at Nora’s Home are grateful for your interest in getting involved! There are many ways to share your compassion and make families feel at home. Explore these opportunities for you to experience the joy and satisfaction of giving some of your time and talents to help our families in need. Have a unique skill or idea that isn’t listed? We welcome the creativity of our volunteers and strive to find a good fit for everyone. We welcome individual or group volunteers! Contact Morgan Fuhriman, our Outreach Coordinator, at morgan@norashome.org to discuss further.

Chef of the Day

There is nothing like coming home to a delicious, hot meal. We are seeking individuals or groups to sign up to be a Chef of the Day by providing and serving–or catering–a meal to the families staying at Nora’s Home. Presently we ask that only up to 8 individuals directly serve the guests dinner. Meal drop-offs are also welcome. Review Guidelines.
