Nora’s Home offers lodging to solid organ transplant patients on any stage of their transplant journey, whether it’s for evaluation, during the wait, recovery post-transplant surgery, and throughout post-transplant follow-up care. Along with their caregivers, we serve patients traveling for heart, lung, kidney, liver, and pancreas organ transplants. At Nora’s Home you will find your home away from home while you are going through this stressful time in your life. Admission is based on availability. We are able to offer an affordable rate in the Texas Medical Center thanks to our generous supporters. For guests needing financial assistance, please note that on your referral form. Guests are expected to pay upon check-in.
Learn about Adopt-A-FamilyIt is important to us that guests staying at Nora’s Home feel safe and comfortable in a communal environment. We are unable to house guests who are disruptive, disregard house rules, or display irresponsible behavior that may be perceived as a threat to other guests. Failure to comply to house rules will result in expulsion and the guest will be banned from making future reservations.

To best care for our guests’ needs, we aim to address service requests in a timely manner. Please note that not all requests may be able to be fully addressed or even immediately addressed by our staff, but we will work to ease any distress even to relocating you to a new room when necessary.
