Please welcome our new volunteer, Sydney Chon, a freshman at St. John’s who is breathing new life into the Tile Project at Nora’s Home! Every other week during the school year, Sydney will guide interested guests through the process of designing their very own ceramic tiles for permanent display on the walls inside of our home. Here are some photos of the latest tiles that our newest guests have created with Sydney throughout this summer. We cannot wait to install this artwork on our designated tile wall in the breezeway between the Phase I and Phase II buildings of Nora’s Home. Thank you very much, Sydney, for your enthusiasm and commitment to bringing the gift of self-expression through art to our transplant patients and their loved ones!
