Houston (February 5, 2018) – Nearly 120 golfers teed off for a cause at Hermann Park Golf Course on Friday, November 17, 2017, participating in the 4th Annual Nora’s Home Golf Classic presented by Satterfield and Pontikes Construction, Inc (S&P). Proceeds from the event benefited Nora’s Home, a hospitality home for organ failure and transplant patients traveling to receive care at the Texas Medical Center. S&P executives presented a check to Nora’s Home in the amount of $75,000 on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Major tournament sponsors included: CFI Mechanical; Diversified Thermal, Inc.; Gonzales Commercial Electric; Hart Plumbing Southwest; and Merit Professional Coatings. Also joining as team sponsors were: Alliant Insurance Services; Construction Specialties; Destin Drywall and Paint Inc.; Jomar Electrical; Myrex Industries; Plumbers Local Union 68; Radley Staffing; Sendero Industries, LLC. and Texas Saffire, LLC. The event featured the late Ron Bukowski being honored with the S&P Spirit Award for his exuberant love of life, family, and his consistent commitment to improve the community.
As general contractors of Nora’s Home, S&P expects to complete construction of a 15,500-square foot phase two expansion in April 2018. “We are pleased to be a part of this very worthwhile project,” stated S&P President/CEO George A. Pontikes, Jr. “Nora’s Home provides important support that these families need, and we are honored to be a part of that effort.”
