2024 Gala: World of Wonder
Yearly EventsSatterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. helped Nora’s Home pocket a record $78,283 for transplant families staying in Houston during their care this year! Sponsors and teams from both the medical and construction arenas gathered for a scramble at the Hermann Park Golf Course on October 18th, 2019, raising funds for families staying at Nora’s Home who are unable to afford the nominal nightly fee of $75/night.
The Golf Classic began with breakfast and Bloody Mary’s before the teams competed for first, second and third place and for longest drive and closest to the pin. After an awards ceremony golfers had a chance to participate in a silent auction for various packages and a live auction for the notorious yearly hunt, followed by a “19th Hole” after-party DJ-ed by The Bull FM 100.3 radio. Golfers got to enjoy a margarita machine, dunk their bosses in the Dunk Tank, won door prizes, and even were visited by Living Bank’s Kenny the Kidney mascot, reminding golfers of the possibility to give the gift of life through being a living donor.
It was a beautiful day and a wonderful time for all there. Special thanks to our sponsors this year: CFI Mechanical, Diversified Thermal, Inc., Hart Plumbing, A/W Mechanical Services, Houston Methodist, CareDx, Bowen, Miclette, and Britt, D&H Masonry, Executive Cleaning Corp, Fielder’s Choice Inc., Gonzales Electrical, Jomar Electrical, Myrex Industries, Sprint Waste Services, Synergen, Texas Saffire, and of course our lovely presenting sponsor, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc.
