The 2017 Giving Back to the Future Nora’s Home Gala was held at Royal Sonesta on Friday, May 5th but was a time warp for guests as they entered the futuristic decorated ballroom. Among other fun activities, entertainment included a casino with cocktails, a performance by iLuminate, and raffle for a Delorean at the end of the evening. The gala was chaired by Dr. Sippi & Ajay Khurana with Margaret Alkek Williams as an honorary chair for her philanthropic commitment in Houston. The night’s Honorees were Lynda & the David Underwood–a recipient family and supporter of the home. This night was unforgettable and funds raised supported the Adopt-A-Family program at the home ensuring that no guest is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for needful lodging.
