Seventh Annual Nora’s Home Classic Tees off for Transplant Patients
HOUSTON, TX — Another year, another successful tournament for the Nora’s Home Classic, presented by Satterfield & Pontikes Construction. The nearly 150 enthusiastic participants in this year’s sold out event to benefit Houston’s haven for transplant patients and their families gathered on Friday, October 16th at Wildcat Golf Club (a change from previous years) to enjoy a safe and thoroughly entertaining day on the Lakes Course. The tournament, a cardinal date on the Nora’s Home fundraising calendar, raised a record-breaking $85,000-plus. At the conclusion of the tournament, the S&P Spirit Award was presented to Jack Lester, who spoke movingly about his connection to the Nora’s Home mission and his experience as a former guest.
