Organ Donation
Texas’s official registry for organ donation.
A regional Organ Procurement Organization serving the Houston area and many other parts of Texas.
Dedicated to the enhancement of organ and tissue donation. Their mission is to educate the community about the urgent need for organ donation, honor donors, and support organ recipients, living donors and their families.
Informational and Support Resources
A nationwide coalition of humanitarian flying organizations, whose volunteer pilots fly medical patients to treatment destinations. This site can serve as a resource for locating local volunteer flying groups throughout the country.

ALF’s support services provide information about liver disease, resources and emotional support to patients, family members, and caregivers.
Angel Flight West serves 14 western states, including Texas. Their volunteer pilots donate their aircraft, piloting skills, and all flying costs to help families in need.
Provides free, personal and private websites to connect people undergoing significant health challenges with family members and friends to enhance support through their journey.
A network of volunteers who provide free air and ground transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes.

Provides fundraising assistance and support to help transplant and catastrophic injury patients meet the high financial costs of their medical treatment.

Provides free air transportation to medical patients needing diagnosis and treatment at medical facilities not available to them locally. They serve patients from Louisiana, Mississippi and western Tennessee, with frequent missions to the Texas Medical Center.
